Hotel's location was stunning and magnificent, in a quiet neighbourhood. Enjoyed a seating area, ironing facilities, and a writing desk in the room. The staff were exceptionally nice and a very very good and superb breakfast was provided.

The rooms are perfectly clean and compact with the garden, so that guests have essentials. There are a great selection of supplies like: Wi-Fi and a kettle. The location of the venue is particularly good and beautiful, adjacent to very good local pub, the Lake District, and Pickmere Lake. Also, it's 4 km from Neumann's Flashes.

I loved this hotel and didn't feel like leaving, strongly recommend to all. I spent my time here lovely. The breakfast was amazing, featured plenty of meals. I've had compact and large room with a newly renovated bathroom as well as crisp clean luxurious bedding. Throughout the day staff were exceptionally nice.

It's just what we needed.

The property was wonderful old and peaceful with very helpful staff. There were cereals and fruit for breakfast. Picturesque location, Manchester airport was 25 km away. Moreover, the area was excellent. We loved this hotel and would return here.

I recently stayed at Pickmere and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect for my needs, with beautiful countryside surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. The owners were friendly and accommodating, offering a warm welcome and the opportunity to upgrade my room if desired. The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The food was good - lots of options. The location was peaceful and nice rural, in the garden-wonderful, it's a plus. Moreover, it's short walk to a cracking pub and lake, and Arley Hall.

Fantastic Guest House in a fantastic location with a great walk around the local Mere. Every effort was made to ensure we had everything we needed during out visit. Food was excellent and bed was super cosy. Visited the local pub which was friendly and served good wholesome food. Top marks all round.

The proprietors were first class people who made us very welcome and comfortable.

Nice rural setting in the absolutely charming area, near to Pickmere Lake as well as a good choice of vegetarian food made for a relaxing evening. Spacious room with a very clean bathroom and wonderful cooked breakfast plus a lovely soft bed.
